How the generator works
Paste one word per line — spelling lists, vocabulary words, science terms, names of countries, anything made of letters. Add a clue after a colon (planet: It orbits a star) and the clue prints under the scrambled letters. The generator mixes each word so that no scramble ever matches the original word, and the difficulty setting controls how aggressively letters move: easy keeps a few familiar letter pairs together, hard guarantees nothing of the original order survives.
Built for classrooms and parties
Print gives you a clean worksheet with a name-and-date line plus a separate answer-key page, so you can hand out the puzzle without handing out the answers. Prefer paperless? Copy the play link instead — students solve the same puzzle online with letter tiles, hints, and a timer. Play links are private: they are never listed on this site or indexed by search engines.
